Aeration Tech
Aeration: a Long-term Solution for Whole Lake Health
Dissolved oxygen is the invisible force that keeps lakes vibrant and teeming with life! Revive your lake by increasing dissolved oxygen— the lifeblood of any healthy lake ecosystem.
Aeration works by powerful diffusers installed at the depths of your lake. Powered by compressors on shore, these diffusers produce a column of micron-sized bubbles that continuously push water up to the surface where it becomes fully saturated with oxygen.
This oxygen-rich water then sinks back down to the bottom, breathing new life into your lake! By oxygenating the entire lake, we jumpstart a powerful and beneficial chain reaction that kicks off nature’s own built-in cleaning process.
Our aeration technologies:
Increase beneficial (aerobic) bacteria and microorganisms on the lake bottom. Reductions of one foot per season are typical.
Increase larvae and insects which feed aquatic life. This means bigger, healthier, and more abundant fish!
Reduce phosphorus and nitrogen. Aeration is 20x more efficient than other types of treatments: 30% to 50% reductions in one season are common.
Kill anaerobic and pathogenic bacteria, thereby keeping the lake safe for you and your children.
EverBlue Patented Diffused Aeration Technology:
Tailored for rapid muck reduction and oxygenation, this system is ideal for larger lakes with depths ranging from 6 to 25 feet. It’s a powerhouse for reviving weed and muck-choked shallow lakes at a much lower cost than dredging.
Oxygen Saturation Technology (OST):
Engineered to combat internal phosphorus loading, OST is the best choice for lakes deeper than 25 feet that are struggling to combat harmful algal blooms.
O2B2 Aeration Tubing:
Specifically optimized for the aeration of channels and coves, O2B2 brings targeted relief to areas that are often overlooked but equally in need of oxygenation.
EverBlue DOCK Technology:
Designed to combat muck buildup around shorelines and swim areas, this technology provides a localized approach to ensure the edges of your lake are just as healthy as its heart.

Is My Lake a Candidate for Aeration?
- Go into shallow water and pull up a handful of sediment. Note its color, texture, and smell. Lakes that are running out of oxygen have mucky sediment that is dark brown or black, greasy, and smelly. The texture can be described as “soupy.”
- Talk to the best fisherman on your lake and find out how deep they can catch fish. If your lake is 30 feet deep, but you never see or catch a fish below 15-20 feet in the summer months, then it’s likely that your lake is running out of oxygen at the bottom.
